Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Alchlab SAC ("Route Monitor", "we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the Route Monitor service (the "Service"). The Service is a business-to-business platform that helps organizations track the patrol routes of their own security personnel. It is not directed to consumers and we do not collect personal information directly from individuals.
1. Scope and Our Role
When a business ("Customer") subscribes to the Service, the Customer is the data controller of the operational data it processes through the Service — including data about its own employees, contractors, or agents who carry out patrols ("Personnel"). Route Monitor acts as a data processor, processing that data only on the Customer's documented instructions and as required to operate the Service.
This Policy covers the limited information we collect directly (for example, when you contact our sales team). The processing of Personnel data on behalf of a Customer is governed by our Data Processing Addendum and the Customer's own privacy notices to its Personnel.
2. Information We Process on Behalf of Customers
When a Customer uses the Service, we process the data the Customer chooses to enter or generate. This typically includes:
- Account and administrator data: business contact name, work email, work phone, and role of the Customer's authorized users.
- Operational data the Customer inputs or generates: routes, checkpoint identifiers, QR codes, scan timestamps, incident reports, and identifiers the Customer assigns to its Personnel.
- Support data: messages, files, or screenshots the Customer shares with us when asking for help.
We process this data only as instructed by the Customer, to provide and secure the Service, and to comply with our legal obligations. We do not use it for our own marketing, profiling, or advertising, and we do not sell it.
3. Information We Collect Directly
We collect a small amount of information directly, only when you choose to provide it:
- Sales inquiries: when you contact us via WhatsApp, email, or a web form, we receive the information you include in your message (typically name, company, and a description of your needs).
- Basic website analytics: aggregated, non-identifying usage data to understand which pages are visited and improve the site.
4. Sub-Processors and Sharing
We share information only with the limited parties needed to operate the Service:
- Infrastructure sub-processors: cloud hosting, database, email delivery, and error-monitoring providers bound by confidentiality and data-processing obligations. A current list is available at alchlab.com or on request.
- WhatsApp: messages you initiate by clicking a "Contact" or "Select Plan" button are sent directly to our WhatsApp number; WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to that interaction.
- Legal authorities: when required by valid legal process or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.
- Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred under continued protection of this Policy.
5. Data Retention
We retain Customer data for as long as the Customer's account is active or as required to provide the Service. Upon termination, Customer data is available for export for 7 days, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Direct sales inquiries are retained for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable record-keeping period thereafter.
6. Security
We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and regular reviews. No method of transmission or storage, however, is 100% secure.
7. International Data Transfers
Information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or other lawful mechanisms to provide adequate protection.
8. Your Rights
Because the Service is B2B and we do not collect personal data directly from individuals, requests from individuals (such as Personnel) about access, correction, or deletion of their data should be directed to the relevant Customer (the employer). The Customer's administrators may contact us at support@alchlab.com to assist with these requests.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email to Customer administrators where appropriate.
10. Contact
For any questions about this Policy, contact Alchlab SAC at support@alchlab.com.
